Not really American Idol contestant Larry Platt may be lucky to have performed what is now considered a possible re-imagining of a 1996 tune, has recently 'lawyered up' to capitalize on his one hit wonder success. After all, 'General' Platt should be compensated for his creative spin (-?).

Well, this was a great publicity stunt that was intended to become a Viral Video to generate publicity for the show...It worked with near flawless precision.
