Michael Jackson Is Not Dead.

The latest Box Office numbers for the much anticipated final Michael Jackson Thriller, "This is it", has reached (As of this writing) just over $22 million - an amazing number as the movie officially opened on Wednesday.

My Comment: Well, news of this successful rehearsal 'Behind The Genius At Work' film (Not the Biopic you were expecting) is definitely a plus for an otherwise astonishing and unbelievable abrupt separation.

Quite frankly, since Jackson's death in June, I have on several occasions entertained surreal thoughts around a very surreal event.

However having said, one primary questionable thought continues to return with ever increasing curiosity: What if this was all just a big elaborate hoax? No, really...I enjoy writing immensely, however real life happenings ALWAYS trump fiction and the greatest stories are always true.

Conspiracy Theorists, Commence Baby Dangling!
Think about the before mentioned concept for a moment...What greater publicity stunt could one possibly invoke? I mean, really? Jackson is quietly laughing at us all from the remote stretches of a Bel Air Mansion.

For your review, Exhibit A: Recent reports have revealed that Michael is now a rank of 3rd on the Forbes list of top-grossing deceased celebrities, only eclipsed by famed fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent ($350m) and Broadway legends Rodgers & Hammerstein ($235m).

Note, the elevation in wealth was achieved more recently through the sale of the, "This is it" film rights, for what would have been the final concert series for Jackson's speculative 'comeback'.

Furthermore, think carefully, have we ever actually seen MJ's body? A-ha, Exhibit B! Case closed.

So, when you provide your patronage at one of the many multi-plex theaters this weekend to see the film, be careful, you just might see Michael in the back of the theater watching his own movie. I'm on my way to retrieve the baby now...
