Issue: On-going public divorce situation. Not good.
My Comment: Several months prior, I had strongly suggested that friends at TLC release the show (Meaning, pull the program off the air) when the events began turn, late last year. Quite frankly, I have never viewed the program, however was aware of the debauchery transpiring independently around the 'Talent' in the real world. Again, not good...
A reader of this blog commented, "Painful to watch" - which is a completely accurate assessment. What is equally of greater discomfort is continuing to listen each of these parties (Jon or Kate) in venues that are not relevant to their program. It is a largely disturbing subject of dysfunction that the general public (You too my Media colleagues) are even remotely interested in the melodramatics of the Jon and Kate saga.
To reproach in a less sophisticated manner, I do not know these people and am completely unconcerned (Don't care) with the who, what, where, why and any other how involving Jon and Kate. Furthermore, did the parties not sign Non-Disclosure / Non-Compete Agreements - TLC, please reign in your "Talent" immediately, this is not favorable for your network in any manner.
Let's just say if this chicanery were happening at my network, there would be no further dissension...Take from that what you will...and people think I am ominous - imagine.
Beyond Ridiculous.
