Hey Paula!

What do you get when you mix an 80's dance music queen, a passive aggressive flower, a stylish diva, and Forever Your Girl?
A new show brought to you by my friends at BRAVO (Scott Sternberg Productions) called, "Hey Paula!" This new highly anticipated docusoap will attempt to follow Paula Abdul in her everyday life (I guess that means when she is not at Fox taping Idol).

Without doubt, the phenom has had an inspiring career that reads like a great novel (Oops, please DO NOT write one...)(Laker's Cheerleader, famed choreographer, multi-platinum Grammy award winning artist, popular personality on famous competition show, and now the latest REALITY Victim...I mean star, of course?).

Now just imagine how you get to see all of the precious moments behind the scenes as she films a AI and the new Bratz movie - nothing but 'Crazy' adventure (aka "Train-wreck")...

Crash - Bang - Boom!
Bravo says, "Hey Paula is a three dimensional portrait of Abdul from her 'Crazy World' as stressed celebrity, tough businesswoman, and comedic prankster" - Strangely, it feels as if this was said as a benefit...

Apparently, Paula and I have much common - tough businesswomen (yes), comedic pranksters (hee hee - just ask my people), stressed celebrities (well, I definitely have the stress part, the second part soon enough).

As exciting as the material may sound, the truth is, many reality types will "tune" the drama to make the subject matter appear more interesting, and without giving away too much of this half-hour "inspirer", the first episode is filled with introductions to various members of her team (The value of a good team is priceless and I say it everyday!) as they prepare Paula for this that and the other...

After watching the first episode, you will know what it is like as a busy, unappreciated existence as a celebrity, who is really just an "everyday girl" -What? (This will either make more sense or leave you confused after you watch the first episode).

Yeah, many people are anticipating "Hey Paula!" and I may even clear a half-an-hour to watch at the very least the first episode tomorrow night. Should be good fun...
