A Model's Year...

One of my personal favorite shows would be America's Next Top Model. I suppose the show is my favorite because it really was the first of it's kind brought to by Bankable Productions (Tyra's Prod Co) and Ken Mok (Executive Producer).

However, it appears that success has presented a few 'Copycats' - yes, this year there will be a plethora of new model type shows. Of course Heidi Klum's Project Runway/Bravo (Not quite the same, but similar), The Janice Dickenson "I'm yelling at you and I don't know why" Modeling Agency/Oxygen is also in another season and soon to follow, The Agency/Vh1 and the Petra Nemcova Project/TLC are also in line for your TV time.

The other Model shows claim to be different and maybe in some variation they are different. Instead of 12 contestants vying for 1 position of Top Model, there will be 10 all competing for jobs. Instead of having a famous "Print Model" head the show, we will have a "Runway Model", or a "Self-proclaimed first Super Model" or a "Natural Disaster Survivor/Model" or "A hot-headed Agency Creative Director" as the star....Different than the original - maybe?

So you see, there are going to be many models on display for your viewing pleasure. Emotions, snark, and high-heels are sure to follow...
